Description:
This document is an undated letter and account from Colonel Daniel McMurphy, Superintendent of Indian Affairs appointed by Georgia, covering expenses incurred between November 3, 1777 and 1784. The expenses include food and supplies for various groups of Creek Indians and a few notable leaders such as the Fat King and the White Lieutenant. A note added to the document by the state auditor, John Wereat, indicates that the account might not be paid, but recommends that it be submitted to the governor and council.
