I Take the liberty of droping [dropping] these few lines To youre [your] Exlencey [Excellency] for information Concerning the Arams [Arms] for the Caveltery [Cavalry] as I belong to that [unclear text: Appartment ] We are Near the Sea board and No Troop between this and the indian Fronteere [Frontier] at this time. I muster About Forty five men and Not Moore [More] then [than] three or foure [four] Soards [Swords] Which I Can Assure [added text: you ] is very Dishartning [Disheartening] to the Men I hope youre [your] Exlency [Excellency] in youre [your] Wisdom Will point out some Way to let Us have our Share of the Arms you have bin [been] pleased to have Made As your Exlency [Excellency] knows the Soard [Sword] Exercise is A very Grate [Great] Advantage to your [edge of page] you have Aney [Any] fiting [fighting] to do for them I am sorry to Impose upon your time But have all Confidence you
