Georgia.
Richard Call, esquire, late an officer of the army [deleted text: of the united ] of the United States, and Colonel of Horse of the said State of Georgia, being duly sworn, saith, that he attended the Treaty of Shoulder bone in the year
1786 in the latter capacity; and, while he conceives that the alternative of the meeting was to agree upon a peace, or prepare for an ultimate war, he does not recollect or believe there were any threats tending to intimidate those that attended into a Treaty against their will and consent: On the contrary, he verily thinks that the same was carried on in the usual form, conduct and manner of treaties with Indians; and was ratified, [deleted text: and ] the parting made [added text: was ] with the customary marks of friendship after such occasions.
