- This document is an extract from the minutes of the Executive Council of the state of Georgia, which orders that the State Secretary prepare a passport for the headmen of the Creek Indians so that they might attend the negotiation of an unnamed treaty. The passport is to be delivered to John Habersham, Commissioner of Indian Affairs. The extract is dated September 11, 1786 and appears to have been prepared by (James ?) M. Stewart, secretary of the Executive Council.
