Personally Appear,d [Appeared] Before me James Moore who being sworn saith [said] on oath that he was obliged to leave the Indian Nation saith [said] that the [unclear text: wole [whole] ] of the upper towns have taken the war [unclear text: Club but ] two the Indians Informed him last friday that thay [they] were a leaveing [leaving] the Big warrior and jonining [joining] the war Party and had left him all but sixty men saturday night about Midnight a fellow Came to him the [unclear text: Moore ] and Told him that thay [they] had [unclear text: Killed ] the Big Worrior [Warrior] I waited to get the true Intelegence [Intelligence] and Never Could get it till saturday Night last which the fellow that I depended to get this [unclear text: Intilegence [Intelligence] ] from [unclear text: Charged me ] purticular [particular] not to let any Red Person know it for if he did thay [they] would Kill him and advised me to Come away for thay [they] would Pretend to be [unclear text: frend ly [friendly] ] till thay [they] got ready and then kill you thay [they] are directed by the Profit [Prophet] that is among them to kill any of there [their] own People if thay [they] do not take up the war Club when thay [they] first [unclear text: imbodied [embodied] ] he odered [ordered] them them [them] to make a hundred arrows Every man and to keep themselves In Rediness [Readiness] for he had a letter that was Given to the short warrior at [illegible text] by the Commanding officer of the british and informed them that if thay [they] would Carry it to Pensacolah that [deleted text: that ] the Spaniards or British would furnish

them with Arms and aminition [ammunition] or any thing that thay [they] wonted [wanted] and he had sent the letter to Pensacolah and the Governor had Excepted [Accepted] it and told them thay [they] should have what thay [they] wanted thay [they] have started from ten to twelve horses out of every town the horses started last saturday Morning thay [they] have sent from ten to twelve fellows from every town of there smartest men there orders is to be back in sixteen days if Posible [Possible] . thay [they] keep [unclear text: imbodied [embodied] ] untill [until] [unclear text: there ] amunition [ammunition] Comes and then thay [they] mean to fall in upon the frontiers of Gorgia the alabamers and ten towns of the [unclear text: Chactows ] means to fall In upon the [unclear text: Tensaw ] and [unclear text: Bigby ] thay [they] did Inform me that the seminoles had joined them
