My frend [friend] & Brother, I am glad to se [see] you hear [here] among us [unclear text: we ] Expect that you are Cum [Come] up to vew [view] the Setuation [Situation] of our Nation, we that are hear [here] means nothing but frendship [friendship] . I do not want to bring our famely [family] to poverty but the Master of our Breath I hope will put all of us in a good way of thinking I allways [always] held the Vergina people by the hand from the begening [beginning] of the last war with them and the English, and never tuck [took] the English talks but Stuck to the Vergina people to the las [last], & will tell [until] the Day I Dye [Die] you Shall be Acquanted [Acquainted] with Every thing that is Dun [Done] hear [here] . there has been a grate [great] Deal of Disturbance hear [here] with this Nation. but time will be the only thing to Settle Matters If these Shou'd meet the Agent, I Desire he will Cum [Come] up as quick as he Can and then I hope we Shall be able to settle talks & if he Don't Cum [Come] up to Send up talks, as there is a grate [great] Deal of Confution [Confusion] in this Nation. I should be glad to no [know] what they woud [would] have us to Do we wants frendship [friendship] with all white people and hope they Do the Same with us we Desire nothing but peace and
