- This document is a signed account of monies (amounting to over 600 dollars) transferred between David B. Mitchell (Governor of Georgia, 1809-1813, 1815-1817 and U.S. Agent to the Creeks, 1817-1821) and Creek leader William McIntosh. The amounts paid to McIntosh are referred to as his "salary" but the document does not reveal what services he rendered or in what capacity he was employed.
