Permit me to trouble you with An address [added text: which ] I beg you to forward [added text: directed ] to the [deleted text: inhabit ] people said to be [added text: settled and ] intruding upon the Indian lands. I am officially informed by the Agent of the War department that there is a considerable number of [deleted text: those ] persons settled on those lands, and I also understand that the regular troops [added text: are shortly ] [deleted text: is about ] to be employed for their removal I [added text: therefore ] deem it expedient to [deleted text: fore warn [forewarn] them ] give them information of the dangers they may [deleted text: be ] expose [deleted text: d ] themselves to, should they be found trespassing as has been to me represented
