The Revd. [Reverend] Mr. Lyman Potter, [added text: [deleted text: from ] of the State of Vermont ] who will have the Honour [Honor] of delivering you this letter, I begleave [beg leave] to introduce to your notice and attention
Mr. Potter will communicate to you his business into the Cherokee Nation, and I have no doubt you will affoard [afford] him every facility the Nature and importance of his business may require,
