- Colquitt County, ca. 1919-1928. Hartsfield District School is said to be the oldest two-room building in the county system and served a district with one hundred fifty pupils. At the time of consolidation, the following was said about the school, "School supported seven months by local tax. Needs painting and furnishing and an additional room. Needs window blinds and patent desks."
