- This collection consists of a letter from R.F. Urquhart to Gen. B.D. Fry, 1865. Urquhart requests permission for Miss O. O'Connor of Canada and Miss Wynn of Savannah to pass through the lines to Savannah. Permission was granted by Gen. Fry on the back of the letter.
R.F. Urquhart lived in Augusta, Georgia. He enlisted in Company H of the 25th Georgia Infantry during the Civil War.
Gen. Birkett Davenport Fry was in command of a district in South Carolina and Georgia.
