Company D, 1st Regiment (Olmstead's), Georgia Volunteer Infantry, was known as the Savannah City Light Guards. It served in and around Savannah, in South Carolina, and with the Army of Tennessee in the Chattanooga and Atlanta campaigns.
This collection consists of descriptive lists and pay accounts of the pay and clothes for Privates Hampton Tillman, John R.B. Baker, and E.H. Parker, 1st Georgia Volunteer Infantry Regiment, Company D, 1864. All lists are signed by 2nd Lieutenant Joseph P. White and Herman Hirsch, Major and Quartermaster.
