- Description:
- Two-story brick house with hipped roof, featuring a one-story pedimented entrance portico with square columns. The entrance features sidelights and transom. The rear elevation, which faces Jackson Street, has a portico with a divided staircase. Built in 1847, the Lustrat House was originally faculty housing. Before being converted into an office for the University's president, the building served as a house museum. The Lustrat House is one of two surviving professor's residences; the other is occupied by the Garden Club of Georgia Museum.
