Two-story wood frame house with high basement featuring a peristyle around the entire house supported by eighteen heroic fluted Doric columns, added in 1850. Balcony and entrance doors are framed by sidelights and fanlight transom. The high porch is reached by an angular horseshoe stairway with a central arched doorway to the basement. The balcony over the entrance features a delicate iron railing. Owned by Dr. Henry Allen Tupper, who was pastor of the Baptist Church. Columns were added in the 1850s.
