to 50 attendees. Today, we have more than 550 attendees. Technology has changed from reel tapes, terminal services, and mainframes to virtual environments, laptops, and microcomputers. Users have gone from a slow dial-up to instant connection. With the capability of video teleconferencing, more face-to-face meetings take place across the state and allow campuses to interact more frequently. We can connect to each other day or night wherever we are.
At this year's conference, you have more than 90 information technology presentations and workshop sessions to choose The USG Annual Computing Conference brings together participants from all institutions in a natural retreat center the unique opportunity to share campus experiences related to current and emerging tools, best practices and challenges facing technology professionals across our system.

Organic chemistry (Orgo) is one of the most challenging courses to pass in part because traditional Orgo courses do not address that humans learn in a variety of ways based on their strongest modes of intelligence. We addressed this by providing Orgo students with targeted, multimedia resources and Apple iPod Touch devices to view and use the resources. Students could then access and interact with the course content in a variety of ways outside the classroom. Our presentation looks at the challenges, observations, and lessons learned from implementing mobile learning in the Orgo classroom.
