ABOUT COTTAGES
All cottages are fully equipped for housekeeping , includ ing stove and refrigerator, with all necessary cooking and serving facilities , equipment, bed linen and blankets. Guests need to bring only food and dishwashing detergent. All cottages have heat, and most are air cond itioned .
Reservations: Reservations for cottages will be accepted on an 11-month advance notice. For example, a person may at any time during the month of March 1987 , make a reservation for a cottage to beg in at any time within the next eleven! months or up to and including the entire month of February 1988. A reservation will not be confirmed until a deposit is received and accepted by the Park Office. A deposit is due with in five (5 ) days from the date a visitor receives the reservation notice. Deposits not received within the allotted time result in automatic cancellat ion . One night occupancy is allowed , but reservations will not be taken for less than two days, and from June 1 to Labor Day a reservation for less than 7 days is not allowed unless the reservation is made less than 14 days in advance. Priority is given to the longest stay requested .
Reservation preference honored In the followi ng order. In person , by telephone , and by mail.
Deposit Equivalent to one night's lodging .
Check-In Time: 4 p.m. - 10 p.m. Yellow reservation deposit sl ip must be presented when checking in. BALANCE OF PAYMENT ON COTTAGE IS DUE UPON ARRIVAL.
Check-Out Time: 11 a.m. Additional fee will be charged after this time unless extension is permitted by the Park Office. Extension can be granted only when others are not waiting for cottage.
Ti me Held: Reservations will not be held after 11 a.m. of second day, and both reservations and deposit are forfeited unless Park Office has been notified of late arrival. Park Office will not accept more than one night's deposit.
Occupancy Limitation: Cottage may not be used overn ight to accommodate more than normal bed capacity . Maximum occ upancy of cottages may va ry f rom pa rk to pa rk .
Occupancy Limit 2 weeks.
Late Arrivals: Park must be notified of late arrival. After 10 p.m., late arrivals will only be allowed to register under emergency conditions.

Refund: Deposit will be refunded upon a minimum of 72 hours notice given to the pa rk prior to arrival, however, a $10.00 cance llation fee wi ll be deducted from deposit. Deposit receipt must be returned to the park fo r refund . Any unused portion of reservation period can be refunded if minimum occupancy has been satisfied (minimum occupancy from June 1 through Labor Day weekend is one week; at other times of the yea r it is 2 days).
Firewood: Firewood is NOT f urni shed. In some parks firewood may be purchased.

COTTAGES (CON'T.)
Eligibility: Cottages are not available to organized groups such as church or civic groups, fraternities, sororities , school groups, family reunions , scouts,etc. An adult must accompany all unmarried cottage guests under 18 years of age.
Pets: Pets are not allowed in cottages or cottage areas. Kennels are not available on parks.
Checking Out Cottages should be left in good condition. Dishes and cookware should be washed and put away. Beds should be left unmade. Equipment, furnishings or bed linen may not be ca rried outside the cottages. Occupant may be charged for damage or missing items.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Park Hours: All Georgia state parks are open to the public yearround 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. with the following exceptions:
Panola Mountain and Providence Canyon State Parks: September 15 to April14 .... . . ....... . 7:00a.m . to 6:00p.m. April15 to September 14 .............. 7:00a.m. to 9:00p.m.
Stephen C. Foster State Park September 15 to Feb. 28 .............. 7:00a.m. to 7:00p.m. March 1 to September 14 .. . .......... 6:30a.m. to 8:30p.m.
Office Hours at all Parks: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
Historic Site Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday, 2 p.m. to 5:30p.m., Sunday. Closed Mondays (except legal holidays), Christmas, and Thanksgiving .
Little White House Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily. Closed Christmas and Thanksgiving . Last tour at 4:15p.m.
Swimming: June 1 through Labor Day (may vary). Overnight guests must pay regu lar swimming fee . Swimming only when lifeguard on duty.
Pets: Domestic pets are allowed on state parks only if kept on a leash not longer than 6 feet and accompanied byth ier owner at all times. Owners are responsible for conduct of pets and must cleanup after them.
Motor Bikes: All motorized bikes are restricted to park roads. They must comply with all state regulations governing reg istration and safety equipment.
Intoxicants: It shall be unlawful for any person to consume or use alcoholic beve rages or intoxicants in any public use area of a park, historic site or recreational area.
Weapons: Firearms , bow and arrows, explosives, fireworks , slingshots, fishing spears, or any device that discharges projectiles by any means are prohibited.
Collecting: All wildlife , plantlife , artifacts, driftwood, or any other natural or manmad e features are protected in all state parks. Please leave them unmolested so that the next visitor may enjoy them too. Use of electronic devices for "treasure hunting" is prohibi ted .

GENERAL INFORMATION (CON'T.) Motor Vehicles: Park roads are public roads. All vehicles are subject to license safety requirements and regulations of the Georgia Department of Public Safety. Noise Levels: Consideration of others is a must at all times. Musical instruments, radios, televisions, or other noise making devices are not to be used between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. and in moderation at all other times. VIsitors: Visitors to the cottage or camping area are welcome ; however, the number of visitors and registered guests will not exceed the cottage or campsite occupancy at any one time. Visitors are requ ired to leave prior to park closing time which is 10 p.m. Group Activities: All parties or group gatherings must conclude by 10 p.m.

Regulation golf courses are operated at Hard Labor Creek (18-hole) , Little Ocmulgee (18-hole) , and Victoria Bryant (9-hole) State Parks.

Swimming pools, beaches, miniature golf, and golf courses are closed Mondays except legal holidays.

ABOUT CAMPING
Hours: Campg rounds open 7 a.m. and close 10 p.m.
Occupancy: To protect park resources , campsite occupancy is limited to ONE of the following combinations of camping rigs:
A. One motor home and one automobile. B. One auto with pop-up tent trailer (or another type tent and
one auto) . C. One auto with travel trailer and one auto. D. One pickup with mounted camping rig and one auto. E. Two motorized vehicles.
In addition to each of the above, one pup tent is authorized . One boat trailer per site is authorized , provided the site is large enough . Each additional party will be required to utilize another site and be charged an additional site fee . Campers will be required to pay the full registration for the number of nights for which a site is occupied at the time of registration .
Reservation Procedure: Camping reservations are accepted up to 30 days in advance. A non-refundable reservation fee of $5 .00 is accepted at time of check-in . A limited number of sites are held for reservation at each park. Reservations are accepted in person or by telephone.
Capacity of Camping Areas: All campers using these facilities are confined to specified camping areas using designated sites within developed camping areas. Camping between designated sites is prohibited . When camping areas are filled to their stated capacity , no other campers will be allowed to stay overnight in the park.
Time Limits: Campers should register to set up camp no later than 8 p.m. Occupancy of a site at any one park is limited to 14 days. A park visitor using a site for 14 days must vacate the park for a period of not less than 4 days.
Check-Out Deadline: 3 p.m.
Extended Stay: If campers wish to extend their stay at a campground past the original day of departure, they must register prior to 12 noon on their original day of departure. If they do not re-register before 12 noon they must relinquish the site by 3 p.m. and register for a site on a first-come, first-served basis.
Display Camping Receipt Campers should attach camping receipt to clip on campsite number sign which is located at each individual campsite . Fold receipt so that expiration date can be seen .
Eligibility: Scout groups and other youth groups are not eligible to occupy developed campsites in tent and trailer areas. Group camps and pioneer camping areas are available to such groups elsewhere in the park system.
Age Limit Campers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
Other Information: Any tent, trailer, or other personal property left on a campsite unoccupied or unattended overnight shall be subject to removal and fees paid will be forfeited . Campers must register before setting up. Dishwashing is prohibited at drinking faucets or in comfort station facilities. All trash and garbage should be placed in proper receptacles .
