Barely an hour east of Atlanta, The Creek is worlds away from the normal city golf experience. The course is surrounded by acres of woodlands,with the meandering Rocky Creek providing a challenge on five of the holes. This same creek motors an old-fashioned waterwheel on the course's signature hole, the par 3 number 5. The Creek at Hard Labor is definitely a "gem worth finding." A full-service pro shop features golf accessories, snack bar and group/individual lessons (with advance appointment).

Highland Walk was recently re-designed by Georgia's own Denis Griffiths, adding nine holes to the original nine. The layout is woven among steep rolling hills with generous Bermuda fairways leading t o all new sloping Tif Eagle Bermuda greens. The signature 5th hole features a unique split fairway to a multitiered green. Highland Walk's new 18 holes offer a challenging course that requires accurate shot-making to score well. A brand new clubhouse features a full-service pro shop, golf accessories, snack bar and group/individual lessons (with advance appointment).

Georgia Veterans rests quietly on the shores of Lake Blackshear. Architect Denis Griffiths took a rich bottomland setting and turned it into a challenging golf course. This central Georgia layout was awarded a prestigious 4-star rating by Golf Digest's Places to Play. The Lakes

The Lakes features a natural beauty rare in most golf courses today. Steve Burns' design was able to preserve much of the area's beauty by using native sand for the many traps and waste areas. He also defined each fairway and landing area with gentle, links-style mounds which accent the course's three large lakes. So close is the course to the Okefenokee Swamp, that it's not uncommon to see an alligator roaming the waterways.
