The Georgia Department of Education requires the Division of Public Library
Services to report annually on the services provided by public libraries and
to account for the financial support from local state and federal sources
This report deals with pertinent services and finances administered by library
systems and organizations Detailed reports of the services and costs are on
file with the Division
Also included is a brief summary of services and activities at the state
level which augment the library systems the administration of library
development extension services and federal programs
