This list is intended to supplement, not replace, the 1943-1944 printed Georgia Library List and the 1944 Supplement. There have been so many requests for new titles, and books have gone out-of-print and out-of-stock so rapidly, that it was decided that supplements, issued at regular intervals, might be more helpful to the schools than an annual list.
Selection Aids
In addition to the Georgia Library Lists, selections may now be made from the Wilson Standard Catalog for High School Libraries and fram the Wilson Childrrm 1 s catalog and their supplements. The state cannot furnish these lists, but they may be purchased with libr~\ry mtching funds. It will bo necessary for each school desiring to purchase one of theso cotalogn to write to tho H. W Wilson Compa:1.y1 958 University Avonuo, Now York City, and Qsk for a quotation. The price varies according to the size of the school, the smeller schools receiving a lower price.
