PREFACE The Directory of Local Government Planning Officials was prepared to provide a statewide listing of local planning contacts in a single source. The information included in the directory was obtained from the sixteen regional development centers in the state. It should be noted that the listing is not all-inclusive. The Department of Community Affairs limited the listing to salaried staff persons, excluding all other appointed and elected planning officials. The directory is divided into two sections, County Governments and Municipal Governments. Within each section, the data is arranged alphabetically by counties and cities, respectively. In situations where a joint city-county planning department exists, the planning contact was listed in both sections. In the cases of unlisted localities, inquiries should be referred to the appropriate regional development center. Every effort was made to ensure that the information in this directory is accurate.
