The Georgia f.o.b. dock quoted price on broilers and fryers for this week's trading is $1.1375 based on full truck load lots of ice pack USDA grade "A" sized 2 to 3 pound birds. 100% (representing 1,013 loads) of the loads offered have been confirmed within a range of $1.04 to $1.19 with a final weighted average of $1.1295 f.o.b. dock or equivalent. The market is steady to firm to occasionally weak and the live supply is adequate to short to occasionally long for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable. Estimated slaughter today is 4,769,500 head. This compares with 4,523,400 head last Monday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on ice pack parts based on truck load and pool truck load lots for this week's trading are: line run tenders $1.94 (based on 2,062,000 lbs.); skinless boneless breasts $1.9850 (based on 8,231,000 lbs.); whole breasts $1.2350 (based on 1,954,000 lbs.); boneless skinless thigh meat $1.51 (based on 1,513,000 lbs.); thighs 75.00 (based on 1,327,000 lbs.); drumsticks 61.50 (based on 1,954,000 lbs.); leg quarters 51.50 (based on 9,099,000 lbs.); and wings $1.57 (based on 3,746,000 lbs.). Demand on most parts is good to normal, mostly good, occasionally light; with the exceptions of whole breasts and drumsticks which is normal to good, mostly normal; and thighs and wings which is good to normal, mostly good.

The market tone for next week's trading is mostly steady to firm, and the live supply is adequate to short for a good to normal demand. Average weights are desirable with a mostly steady to lower, firm and occasionally weak price trend. Estimated slaughter today is 4,705,300 head. This compares with 4,772,700 head last Tuesday.
The f.o.b. dock confirmed final weighted average prices on parts were: line run tenders $1.94 skinless boneless breasts $1.9850 whole breasts $1.2350; boneless skinless thigh meat $1.51; thighs 75.00; drumsticks 61.50; leg quarters 51.50; and wings $1.57. Cooler inventories and supplies on all parts are balanced to occasionally heavy and light with a mostly balanced to good, occasionally light demand. Price trend on all parts is mostly higher to lower, occasionally weak and steady.
