2011 FINAL COTTON PRODUCTION
Cotton Georgia's final 2011 Production in 480-lb Net Weight bales was 2.47 million bales, up 0.22 million bales from 2010.
Hay Stocks May 1, stocks on Georgia farms totaled 169 thousand tons, down from last year's 188 thousand tons.
Winter Wheat Harvested acres in Georgia are expected to total 200 thousand acres in 2012. Yield is expected to average 52 bushels per acre in 2012, down 3 bushels per acre from 2011.
