Georgia Peach Week
From a proclamation by the governor: It is peach picking time in the Peach
State. The peach growers have an excellent crop of fruit, and the peach crop contributes millions of dollars to the economy of the State.
The Georgia peach is healthful and nutritious and it is desirable that every Georgian have the opportunity to share in this healthgiving fruit.
