October 25-28 -- Southern Farm Show of agri-business and farm life exhibits, Convention Center, Atlanta.

Over 200 agricultural officials representing every state in the nation are meeting along with representatives of the U. S. Department of Agriculture to discuss today's problems in agriculture.
The convention site rotates each year to a state within one of the four National Association regions: Western, Northeastern, Midwestern or Southern.
Noted speakers addressing the agriculture officials include Orville Freeman, secretary of agriculture; Senator Herman Talmadge, Georgia; Governor Lester Maddox; Governor Buford Ellington, Tennessee; Carl Sanders, former governor of Georgia; Dr. Fred Davison, president of the University of Georgia; Nelson Stitt, director of the United States - Japan Trade Council; and Tom Under, former Georgia commissioner of agriculture.

At the 1955 session of the General Assembly, the marks and brands law was amended to pro vide for registration with the Commissioner of Agriculture your mdrk or brand of livestock.
If you desire to register your mark or brand, you may write the department for application, and all necessary forms will be mailed to you.
There is no cost for this registration except the recording fee to the Ordinary of the County in which your cattle are located.
