AGRIBUSINESS COUNCIL FORMED

Sutton Named President
Of New Georgia Council
W. A. Sutton, former director of the University of Georgia Cooperative Extension Service and now vice president of the Citizens & Southern National Bank, has been named first president of the newly-organized Georgia Agribusiness Council, Inc. He had served as temporary chairman during the formation of the group.
The Council was chartered to promote development of agriculture and agribusiness in the state by the addition of economic value to Georgia farm products through further processing; to increase public understanding of the problems of agriculture and agribusiness; and to coordinate support for various public and private programs at local, state, and national levels.
"Efforts of the group," according to President Sutton, "should develop a better public appreciation for farming and farm-oriented businesses."
Other officers of the Council for 1966, named by 15 directors selected at a recent membership meeting, include Vice Presidents Clyde Greenway, Tucker, Southern public relations director of Sears-Roebuck, and C. W. Paris, Atlanta,

assistant general manager of the Cotton Producers Association; Treasurer Olin Ginn, Atlanta, rural division manager of Georgia Power Co., and Secretary Elmo Hester, Decatur, editor of The Georgia Farmer magazine.

Notices for house work, small gar den work, companions, child care and similar type positions will not be published. Notices received for publication in these columns must carry an explanation as to the type of farm work the ad vertiser is seeking or the type of farm for which help is wanted. Trucks, jeeps and large equipment notices will also be omitted. Tractor and general farm equip ment notices will be published as usual.
