EAT A BETTER BREAKFAST

THREE COMMODITY GROUPS PROMOTE BETTER BREAKFASTS

Inferior diets affect six out of every 10 girls and four out of every 10 boys. Skipping breakfast is one of the most significant reasons,
Fifty percent of American families start the day without the benefit of an adequate breakfast
Surveys give proof that students get better grades, employees do better work and we all feel more capably alert when we regularly start each day with a substantial meal.

In other words, a good breakfast is a good investment in the health and well being of you and your children.

In this connection, three Georgia commodity groups - The Georgia Egg Commission, the Georgia Commodity Commission for Milk
and the Georgia Swine Growers Association - are kicking off a campaign on August 30 to promote better breakfasts in Georgia.

The August 30 date was chosen as children will be starting back
to school and this is an excellent time for mothers and families to resolve to get in the breakfast habit .

The campaign will continue throughout the month of September.
