During the past two years, there has
been offered to Georgia farmers a foliar
spray material for which it was claim-

program, would materially increase
yields. Tests at a Georgia Experiment Sta-

There are satisfactory liquid fertilizer
materials available. These are manufac-
tured and distributed by reliable con-
cerns. The greatest chance of failing to
get your moneys worth for your fertili-
zer dollar is where you deal with a fast-
talking salesman who claims his material
will do wonders for your crop.
*Where the foliar material was used as re-
commended as a starter solution on 3,000 tobacco
plants, 77 percent had to be replaced. In com-
parison, plants treated with water required less
than 6 percent replacement.
