of the ticks, as well as to eradicate them
from infected areas and herds of cattle.

The committee directs the Depart-
ment to use every feasible means to ac-
celerate this program and to use existing
authority to transfer funds between ap-
propriations if necessary to provide ade-
quate funds for cattle tick eradication
measures.
