Farmers and consumers market bulletin, 1958 July 30

Commissioner

Phil Canphell,

NUMBER 47

em a modified certified status.
t of oie counties that have com-

for their fine cooperative effort to rid
their cattle herds of this disease.

In addition to the 83 that have com-
pleted testing, 47 counties shaded in the
map below are under area test. Lanier

county also signed a resolution to begin

area testing since this map was made.

This leaves only 28 counties which have _

not yet started testing.

Officials are presently working to

get each of the remaining 28 counties

started in the program to make Georgia
brucellosis clean by 1960. It is expected
that every county will be under test
within the very near future.

Farmers and officials in Georgia
have done a fine job in getting counties
tested and certified and we are well on
the way to reaching our goal.
