The museum, both in the State Capi-
tol, and on the Morman Temple Square,
contain displays of early Norman life
and religion that are very interesting.
The hardships endured by the Mor-
mans who immigrated to Salt Lake
themselves makes annal of human
courage and devotion to belief that can
hardly be excelled in human experience.
Whatever you may think of the re-
ligious belief of these people, you can-
not review the history and visual evl-
dence of their heroism without knowing
that here was a band who _ believed
what they professed to believe.
Over the mountains and down Immi-
eration Canyon, these Mormans came
to find a place of liberty and freedom.
In places, it was necessary for them
to unload their wagons, take the wag-
ons apart and carry the different pieces
on their backs over the mountain and
down the other side. here the wagons
were reassembled piece by piece. The
