#

ing and privation on such ascale
that the horrible deeds of the

dark ages sink into insignifi-

- eance by comparison.

Famine stalks the highways
of the world. Gaunt men fall at

their labor for lack of food. Pit-

iful and helpless little children

by the millions hold to the skirts
of hungry mothers and cry for
food which the mothers are

hopelessly unable to provide.

The men at the head of the
great powers trade and traffic

in the lives and destinies of two

billion human beings. |

These two billion Raia be-
ings are like a herd of sheep be-
ing led to slaughter.

They are in utter ignorance

_ of what is going on. The people

of Russia, England, the United
States and France have been
denied the truth along with the
people of Germany, Italy and
Japan. The dictators of Germ-

any, Japan and Italy could nev-.

er have equipped themselves
for a World War had the means
not been supplied them by Eng-
land and the United States.

We hear a lot of talk about
suppression of facts and cen-
sorship in Russia and it is all too
true.

We do not hear about the sup-
pression of facts in the United
States and England, yet the sup-
pression of facts is just as ef-
fective in the United States and
Engiand as it is in Russia.

Itis a matter of official record
in Washington, which no inform-
ed person will question, that we,
the United States, armed Japan
for a-war of aggression in Asia.

If anyone questions the truth
of this statement, I invite them
to read Secretary of State Hulls

White Book. In this White Boc
an official government docu-
ment, Secretary of State Hull
said unqualifiedly that he knew
as far back as 1937 exactly what
Japan was up to and that Japan
intended to conduct a war of
aggression to bring all of East
Asia under Japans dominion b
force. In the face of the official
statement, the United States
furnished oht million tons of
war supplies to Japan from 193

to October, 1940.

England did substantially the
same thing for Germany, arm-_
ing Germany in the belief that
Germany would fight Russia.
This was under the Administra-
tion of Prime Minister Cham-
berlain. It was with the full
knowledge and consent of Mr.

Churchill.
The United States and Ens

land were accessories before
the fact to all the blood shed and |
horrors of the great World War.

The people of the United
States and England have nver
been told these facts. They will
never be told these facts. The
truth is effectively withheld
from the people of America and
Great Britain. 7

No wonder that the Govern
ments of Russia, England and
the United States are suspicious
of each other.

No wonder the Chinese are
suspicious of Russia, England
and the United States.

No wonder all of the smaller
nations are suspicious of each
other as well as of the great.

powers.

No wonder all of the great
powers are afraid to disarm in
