Don t Sell Hogs At Present Prices If Vou Can Help It

No. 3% and three eents cheaper for Roughs. Some of the
~ Roughs are, also, docked from 30 to 70 pounds per hog. This
system > -of sel! ing would make some good hogs in Georgia sell
< for. about 3 1-2 cents per pound on foot.

There s only one. thing that brought this condition shane
on the market too rap- -
idly. I know, when the feed is exhausted and the hog is fat, E

- and that was the dumping of the hogs

\. that he is.an additional expense to the farmer for every day

_ that he is kept over the time. But this condition can be rem-

edied by butchering these hogs. and eur.ng the meat at home.
This can be done very easily. ~ Where the weather is not suita-
ble, gt you a block of ice and pack your joints around this
block of ice. Well eured bacon and hams are now bringing
