Now is the time to market the first Lima Beans. There should be ready
demand for them at your nearest principal market center where the mini-
mum of freight can be had, or possibly you can deliver them i in person and
save freight.
If you desire a
New crop California Beans will begin to arrive in October and our dock
should be marketed in advance of then to obtain the good prices now pre-
vailing8c to 84 per pound F. O. B. our principal markets.
Bear in mind all beans must be well screened and all trash and faulty
beans removed, hand picking them if necessary to put them in this condi-
tion, otherwise they will have to go at a sacrifice. All shipments must be
packed in uniform 100 pound net weight sacks. If you do not find a satis-
factory market for your beans near home, send us sample, stating the
amount you have to offer, and we will be glad to dispose of them for you.
