State Capitol,
Atlanta, Ga.

Gentlemen : e = oe a

Again we come to: you for inforweation-<thie: time concerning sweet: potatoes. Ureouiesatels. our wecpls! were
unable to get reliable plants for early planting, and, as a result, we are going to have a short crop. However, it is _
- our purpose to look ahead, and, if South Georgia produces a crop ef good quality and free from disease, we will
- probably be interested in- the. purchase of some to fill our curing house as usual. The price and quality of the

_. potatoes will determine our storage operations the coming, season. . Ash in seasons: past, your con. in oo :
these potatoes will be appreciated.

We feel it due you tos ty that, since we first beeen fs use of the Market Bulletin some six or sie years back, _
we have met with wonderful success, both in the sale of things we had to dispose of, and in the purchase of things _
that we needed.- Later on, after we had spent considerable time and money in the: marketing mainly of sweet pota- ~
toes, but other things as well, we found that, through your sales organization, it was only necessary for us to place
our offerings in-yeur hands; and, in due course, the goods were sald to better advantage than we had ever before
been able to dispose of them, and without cost to us.

- Our citizens are blessed: in: having such efficient and: free icecabing service at their command,: ceeding 5 4
tie farmer who wishes to sell his products: and the merchant.whowishes to buy. them... We owe Mr. Brown: a ag pe aN
of gratitude for his vision and-foresight i in the establishment of the: Bureau of: Markets.

~ Yours very truly,
