Friday, April 4, 2025 HB 896 by Representative Clark of the 100th HALL COUNTY: House Bill 896 authorizes Hall County to levy a hotel/motel tax.
SB 332 by Senator Jones of the 10th DEKALB COUNTY: Senate Bill 332 provides that DeKalb County Board of Education members will be elected only by residents of that school district.
PURSUANT TO ARTICLE VII, SECTION II, PARAGRAPH IV OF THE STATE CONSTITUTION, THE FOLLOWING LOCAL BILLS RELATING TO HOMESTEAD
EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE:
SB 234 by Senator Payne of the 54th CITY OF DALTON: Senate Bill 234 provides a homestead exemption from City of Dalton school district ad valorem taxes in the amount by which the current year assessed value exceeds the base year value of the homestead.
SB 235 by Senator Payne of the 54th WHITFIELD COUNTY: Senate Bill 235 provides a homestead exemption from Whitfield County school district ad valorem taxes in the amount by which the current year assessed value exceeds the base year value of the homestead.
SB 336 by Senator Moore of the 53rd DADE COUNTY: Senate Bill 336 provides a homestead exemption from Dade County school district ad valorem taxes in the amount by which the current year assessed value exceeds the base year value of that homestead.

HB 685 AGREEING TO THE SENATE SUBSTITUTE by Representative Gambill of the 15th BARTOW COUNTY: House Bill 685 provides for the creation of a community improvement district in Bartow County.
HB 750 AGREEING TO THE SENATE SUBSTITUTE AS AMENDED BY THE HOUSE by Representative Cox of the 28th FORSYTH COUNTY: House Bill 750 adds a third judge to the State Court of Forsyth County.
