EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE:
HB 811 by Representative LaHood of the 175th LOWNDES COUNTY: House Bill 811 provides a homestead exemption from Lowndes County school district ad valorem taxes in the amount of $40,000 for residents who are 65 years of age or older, and $50,000 for residents who are 70 years of age or older.
HB 813 by Representative LaHood of the 175th LOWNDES COUNTY: House Bill 813 provides a homestead exemption from Lowndes County school district ad valorem taxes in the amount of $12,000 for all residents.
HB 814 by Representative LaHood of the 175th LOWNDES COUNTY: House Bill 814 provides a homestead exemption from Lowndes County ad valorem taxes for residents in the amount of $40,000 for residents who are 65 years of age or older, and $50,000 for residents who are 70 years of age or older.
HB 815 by Representative LaHood of the 175th LOWNDES COUNTY: House Bill 815 provides a homestead exemption from Lowndes County ad valorem taxes for all residents in the amount of $12,000.

HB 823 by Representative Wade of the 9th DAWSON COUNTY: House Bill 823 revises a homestead exemption from Dawson County ad valorem taxes to include any residents who have resided in the county for at least 30 years.
HB 824 by Representative Wade of the 9th DAWSON COUNTY: House Bill 824 closes the applications for several homestead exemptions from Dawson County ad valorem taxes and school district ad valorem taxes on January 1, 2026. Residents already receiving one of the listed exemptions are able to continue with that exemption or apply for a different exemption already provided.
HB 832 by Representative Gullett of the 19th PAULDING COUNTY: House Bill 832 provides a homestead exemption from Paulding County school district ad valorem taxes in the amount by which the current year assessed value of a homestead exceeds the adjusted base year assessed value.
HB 835 by Representative Carpenter of the 4th CITY OF DALTON: House Bill 835 revises a homestead exemption from City of Dalton school district ad valorem taxes for residents who are 70 years of age or older by increasing the amount to $325,000.
HB 836 by Representative Smith of the 70th COWETA COUNTY: House Bill 836 revises a homestead exemption from Coweta County school district ad valorem taxes by increasing all amounts for several certain groups of residents.
HB 841 by Representative Jasperse of the 11th PICKENS COUNTY: House Bill 841 provides a homestead exemption from Pickens County school district ad valorem taxes for residents who are 62 years of age or older, whose income does not exceed $40,000, in the amount of $40,000.
HB 842 by Representative Carpenter of the 4th WHITFIELD COUNTY: House Bill 842 revises a homestead exemption from Whitfield County ad valorem taxes for residents who are 70 years of age or older by increasing the amount to $325,000.
HB 843 by Representative Carpenter of the 4th CITY OF DALTON: House Bill 843 revises a homestead exemption from City of Dalton ad valorem taxes for residents who are 70 years of age or older by increasing the amount to $325,000.
HB 844 by Representative Carpenter of the 4th WHITFIELD COUNTY: House Bill 844 revises a homestead exemption from Whitfield County school district ad valorem taxes for residents who are 70 years of age or older by increasing the amount to $325,000.
HB 846 by Representative Thomas of the 21st CHEROKEE COUNTY: House Bill 846 provides a homestead exemption from Cherokee County ad valorem taxes for all residents in the amount of up to 100 percent as determined from the proceeds generated from the collection of a retail homestead option sales and use tax.
HB 848 by Representative Kelley of the 16th POLK COUNTY: House Bill 848 provides a homestead exemption from Polk County school district ad valorem taxes in the following amounts: the greater of 50 percent or $60,000.00 of the assessed value of the homestead for residents who are at least 65 years of age; the greater of 75 percent or $80,000.00 of the assessed value of the homestead for residents who are at least 70 years of age; and the full assessed value of the homestead that does not exceed $500,000.00 appraised fair market value for residents who are at least 77 years of age, with an annual aggregate cap of $150 million in calendar year 2026.
HB 850 by Representative Newton of the 127th AUGUSTA-RICHMOND COUNTY: House Bill 850 provides a homestead exemption from Augusta-Richmond County ad valorem taxes for all residents in the amount by which the current year assessed value exceeds the adjusted base year value of that homestead.
HB 853 by Representative Carpenter of the 4th CITY OF TUNNEL HILL: House Bill 853 provides for a homestead exemption from City of Tunnel Hill ad valorem taxes for residents who are 70 years of age or older in the amount of $325,000.
HB 854 by Representative Carpenter of the 4th CITY OF COHUTTA: House Bill 854 revises a homestead exemption from City of Cohutta ad valorem taxes for residents who are 70 years of age or older by increasing the amount to $325,000.
HB 859 by Representative Gambill of the 15th CITY OF CARTERSVILLE: House Bill 859 provides a homestead exemption from City of Cartersville school district ad valorem taxes through the 2032 tax year in the following amounts: $60,000 for residents who are between 65 and 69 years of age or totally disabled; $80,000 for residents who are between 70 and 74 years old; $100,000 for residents who are between 75 and 79 years old; and $200,000.00 for residents who are 80 years old or older.
HB 860 by Representative Barton of the 5th GORDON COUNTY: House Bill 860 increases a homestead exemption from Gordon County school district ad valorem taxes in the following amounts: $50,000.00 for residents who are between 65 and 69 years of age; $115,000.00 for residents who are between 70 and 74 years of age; $125,000.00 for residents who are 75 years of age or older.
HB 861 by Representative Barton of the 5th CITY OF CALHOUN: House Bill 861 increases a homestead exemption from City of Calhoun school district ad valorem taxes in the following amounts: $50,000.00 for residents who are between 65 and 69 years of age; $115,000.00 for residents who are between 70 and 74 years of age; and $125,000.00 for residents who are 75 years of age or older.
HB 870 by Representative Neal of the 79th CLAYTON COUNTY: House Bill 870 provides a homestead exemption from Clayton County ad valorem taxes in the amount by which the current year assessed value exceeds the base year assessed value of such homestead for residents who are disabled veterans, senior citizens, unremarried surviving spouses of a peace officer or firefighter killed in the line of duty, and 100 percent disabled veterans, through December 31, 2030.
