HB 615 by SUBSTITUTE by Representative Petrea of the 166th CHATHAM COUNTY: House Bill 615 allows the current 13-person membership of the Chatham County Recreation Authority to continue serving their full terms, until February 28, 2029. On March 1, 2029, the board will consist of nine members. The appointment process is also revised to include appointments from various local governing authorities. Vacancies will be filled by the Chatham County legislative delegation.
HB 747 by Representative Cummings of the 9th COBB COUNTY: House Bill 747 revises the compensation of state court judges of Cobb County. The chief judge salary is increased to $11,328.25 per year. The division 1 state court judge salaries are increased to $217,134.20 per year.
HB 755 by Representative Ballinger of the 23rd CHEROKEE COUNTY: House Bill 755 authorizes Cherokee County to levy a hotel/motel tax.
HB 756 by Representative Jackson of the 165th CHATHAM COUNTY: House Bill 756 abolishes the current membership and provides for new membership appointment of the Chatham Area Transit Authority.
HB 759 by Representative Camp of the 135th SPALDING COUNTY: House Bill 759 revises the terms of the members of the Board of Elections of Spalding County. It also renames the elections supervisor to the elections director and allows the board to hire legal counsel.
HB 760 by Representative Sainz of the 180th GLYNN COUNTY: House Bill 760 revises the annual salary of the Board of Commissioners of Glynn County by changing the chairperson's salary to $28,000, the vice chairperson's salary to $27,000, and the members' salary to $26,000.
HB 762 by Representative Gilliard of the 162nd CHATHAM COUNTY: House Bill 762 creates the Savannah Music Commission.
HB 763 by Representative Stephens of the 164th RICHMOND HILL; BRYAN COUNTY: House Bill 763 creates the Richmond Hill-Bryan County Airport Authority.
HB 764 by Representative Jasperse of the 11th CITY OF NELSON: House Bill 764 revises how vacancies are filled for the mayor and city council of the City of Nelson.
HB 766 by Representative Cheokas of the 151st SUMTER COUNTY: House Bill 766 creates the Sumter-Americus County Unification Commission.

EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE:
HB 758 by Representative Mathiak of the 82nd SPALDING COUNTY: House Bill 758 provides a homestead exemption from Spalding County school district ad valorem taxes for residents who are 65 years of age or older in three separate amounts. The first amount is 100 percent of the assessed value with an income cap of $25,000. The second amount is 50 percent of the assessed value with an income requirement between $25,000 and $53,000. The third amount is 25 percent of the assessed value with an income cap of $53,000.
HB 761 by Representative Clark of the 108th CITY OF LILBURN: House Bill 761 provides a homestead exemption from City of Lilburn ad valorem taxes for residents in the amount by which the current year assessed value exceeds the prior year assessed value by more than eight percent. An existing exemption from City of Lilburn ad valorem taxes for residents who are 65 years of age or older by increasing the amount from $10,000 to $50,000.
HB 771 by Representative Thomas of the 21st CHEROKEE COUNTY: House Bill 771 revises a homestead exemption from Cherokee County school district ad valorem taxes in the full amount of the value of the homestead for residents who are disabled or are 62 years of age and older by including surviving spouses of eligible residents without the five-year residency requirement.
HB 782 by Representative Stephens of the 164th CHATHAM COUNTY: House Bill 782 provides a homestead exemption from Chatham County school district ad valorem taxes in an amount by which the current year assessed value exceeds the base value of the homestead.
HB 783 by Representative Richardson of the 125th COLUMBIA COUNTY: House Bill 783 provides a homestead exemption from Columbia County school district ad valorem taxes in the amount of $8,000 for all residents.
HB 784 by Representative Richardson of the 125th COLUMBIA COUNTY: House Bill 784 provides a homestead exemption from Columbia County ad valorem taxes in the amount of $8,000 for all residents.
