PURSUANT TO ARTICLE VII, SECTION II, PARAGRAPH IV OF THE STATE CONSTITUTION, THE FOLLOWING LOCAL BILL RELATING TO HOMESTEAD
EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE: HB 1481 by Representative Cannon of the 58th CITY OF ATLANTA: A bill to provide a homestead exemption from City of Atlanta Independent School District ad valorem taxes for residents who live in the zip codes of 30310, 30311, 30314, 30315, 30318, 30331, or 30354 in an amount by which the current year assessed value exceeds the base year value of the homestead which shall be adjusted annually by the lesser of five percent or the annual inflationary index rate.
