EXEMPTIONS REQUIRE A TWO-THIRDS ROLL-CALL VOTE FOR PASSAGE:
HB 1441 by Representative Meeks of the 178th APPLING COUNTY: A bill to provide a homestead exemption from Appling County School District ad valorem taxes in the full amount of the assessed value of the homestead for residents who are 70 years of age or older and whose income, excluding certain retirement income, does not exceed $10,000.
