Obituary
"Back to the dust\ we all must go"
(T\anc^ ^achary Ifoung, better known as
"Mama Tugger " to all who knew and loved her, lived a beauti fu l and resourceful life. She was called to her heavenly home on January 3, 2001.
She was born July 6, 1911, to the late Robert and Nellie Zachary in Evans (Columbia County), Georgia.
At an early she joined and was baptized at Crawford Grove Baptist Church, where she servedfaithfully until her healthfailed. Mrs. Young was educated in the Columbia County Public Schools and received many certificates o fappreciation fo r services ren dered; such as Senior Citizen Talent Fashion Program and Gos pel singing with the Faith o f Charity Gospel Choir fo r over twenty-two years.
She was employed at various occupations including Augusta Arsenal and as a beautician. She never had any biological kids but has been a mother to many.
In this life she leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted sister, Mrs. Nellie Zachary Furlough; nieces, Inez Kendrick, Thomson, GA, Bernice Bolden, Philadelphia, PA and Shirley Crawford, Augusta, GA; three nephews, Charles Furlow, Philadelphia, PA; Moses Kendrick, Augusta, GA and William Kendrick, Florida; eight great nieces; nine great nephews, Kevin Furlough, Ricky, Donald, Mark, Phillip, Ted, Toy, Kenny and Wayne; great great nieces (four special) Tresheena, Rakesha, Keshauna and Tanjaznek; a special cousin, Horace Wesley and friend, Lizzie Hill; and a host o f other relatives andfriends.
