FOOT PRINTS IN THE SAND One night I had a dream. I was walking along the beach with the the Lord, and across the skies flashed scenes from my life. In each scene I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand. One was mine, and one was the Lord's. When the last scene o f my life ap peared before me, I looked back at the footprints in the sand, and to my surprise I noticed that many times along the path of my life there was only one set o f foot prints. And I noticed that this was at the lowest and saddest times in my life. I asked the Lord about it: "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you would walk with me all the way. But I noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why you left my side when I needed you most. The Lord said: "My precious child, I never left you dur ing your time o f trial Where you see only one set of footprints, I was
carrying you."

I'm Free
Don't grieve for me now, I'm Free. I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard His call.
I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the close o f the day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it
with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too, will miss. Be not burdened with times o f sorrow.
*
I wish you the sunshin e of tomorrow. My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my times seemed all t oo brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now; He Set Me Free.

The family of the late Mrs. Marie Smith Youmans wishes to express our deepest gratitude for the many ways in which you expressed your love and sympathy during our time of bereavement. We will always remember with grateful hearts your every
kindness.
