On Friday, November 21, 1997, JHr. JlbMe (Jiooiay) plrtglji, entered into rest at the University Hospital, Augusta, Georgia.
Mr. Eddie Louis Wright, Bootsy, as he was so fondly called, one of twins, was born November 29, 1942, in Burke County, Georgia to the late Clarence and Evelyn Attaway Wright, Sr.
At an early age, he was converted, baptized and joined the Keys Grove Baptist Church, Keysville, Georgia, during the pastorage of the late Rev. Q. H. Hickson.
He received his education in the Richmond County Public School System.
In his early life he moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where he met and married Marceline Burrell. He had four children. In later years he married Pearl Bristol.
He returned to Augusta, Georgia to live in 1991.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Pearl Wright, of Jasper, FL; three sons, Mr. Edward Louis Wright, Jr., Mr. Anthony Wright and Mr. Curtis Pinkney, all of Philadelphia, PA; one daughter, Mrs. Aliah Dorene Warren, of Harrisburg, PA; four stepchildren, Mr. Emory Bristol, Mr. Steve Bristol, Mr. Kenneth Bristol and Miss Brenda Bristol; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Bynes, of Buffalo, NY; Mrs. Evelyn Stringer, of Augusta, GA; and Mrs. Betty J. Kemp, of Long Branch, NJ; one son-in-law, Mr. Winston W. Warren, of Harrisburg, PA; one aunt, Mrs. Claudia Attaway, of Philadelphia, PA; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, a devoted sister-in-law, Mrs. Evelyn Wright, of Augusta, GA; a dear friend, Mrs. Helen Scott, of Augusta, GA; six grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
