OBITUARY
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord.
Mrs. Albertha Wimberly was born Feb. 19, 1909. She was the daughter of the late Crawford and Jennie Weaver. She was married to the late Robert Wimberly, all of Waynesboro, Ga.
She accepted Christ at an early age, joined McElmurray Spring Branch Church and became active on the usher board. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Society.
She departed this life on August 1, 1985, at University Hospital.
She had one son who preceded her in death, Lee Roy Walker.
Mrs. Wimberly leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, Bunnie Weatherbee, New York, N.Y., Josephine Blount, Richmond, Va., Evelyn Lewis, Waynesboro, Ga.; four sons, Frank Wimberly, Waynesboro, Robert, Paul, Napolean Wimberly, all of St. Petersburg, Fla.; four daughters-in-law; two sonsin-law; one sister, Jannie Goodon, Augusta, Ga.; three brothers, Robert Weaver, Jacksonville, Fla., Leon and Crawford Weaver Jr. of Easton, Pa.; 24 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-inlaw; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
