We Thank You Lord

We thank you Lord for whispering pine, For balmy cedar the columbine; For rippling brook and sparkling spring, We thank you Lord for everything.

The mountains with their lofty peaks, The sun that sends its rays o f heat, For fish and fowl and birds that sing, We thank you Lord for everything.

The dew drop's sparkling, diamond hue, Refreshing plants with life anew, For music that swell from harp and string, We thank you Lord for everything.

Echoes resound from distant hills, White clouds aloft, gentle and still, With sun kissed, tinted crested wings, We thank you Lord for everything.

For humble home and family dear, And loyal friends afar and near, For tranquil peace that sleep can bring, We thank you Lord for everything.

Thank you for your guiding hand, That holds each firmly, helps to stand, For peace o f mind and love's refrain, Thank you, Lord, for everything.
