Obituary
Ms. Lula Mae Williams, 79, o f Atlanta, Georgia went
peacefully home to the Lord on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta, Georgia. Ms. Williams was born April 15, 1933 in Wrens, Georgia (Jefferson County) to the late Garfield and Ludall Smith.
Ms. Williams was united in marriage to the late Robert Williams and the couple made their home in A ugusta, Georgia. Ms. Williams later relocated to New York.
Ms. Williams joined the Galilee Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia at an early age. She later united with the Antioch Baptist Church in Augusta, where she attended until moving to Atlanta, Georgia. She was a member o f the Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Atlanta at the time o f her death. She was also a member o f the Sixty-Second Chapter o f Eastern Star.
Ms. Williams ' sister, Tecora Smith, brother, Larry Lawton, and son, Walter Lee Smith Sr., all preceded her in death.
She leaves to cherish her memory seven daughters: Theresa (Eddie) Green o f Gulf Port Mississippi, Robinette (Frazier) Williams o f Atlanta, Evon Green o f Augusta, Oreda Owens, Gloria (Larry) Williams, Sharon (Calvin) Wright, and Shontel Williams all o fAtlanta; one son: Frederick Williams o fAtlanta; 18 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; three nieces: Deborah Samuels and Faye Smith both o f Augusta, and Eloise Carter o f Bronx, New York; 2 great nephews, 4 great-great nephews; five great nieces, 10 greatgreat nieces; a host o f cousins, other relatives, andfriends; and a very specialfriend, Helen Little, o fAtlanta.
