Z he Obituary

JULIA WILLIAMS was born in Opelousas, Louisiana to the late Albert Sims and Carrie DuPont Sims and was the youngest of ten children who have preceded her in death. She was later raised in Beaumont, Texas where she graduated from high school and completed two years of college.

Julia is preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, lSG T (Ret.) LeRoyWilliams, and a son, Roy A.Williams. She was a devout Catholic her entire life and when her health kept her from attending regular weekly Mass, she would pray the rosary daily and watch Mass on the Catholic television station.

She was a devoted wife and nurturing Mother and at one time was very active in the many of her daughters' school and social activities, was a class-room Mother at Immaculate Conception School and played bridge for over forty years with the DYWYK bridge club. She was also a Life-Member of the Disabled American Veteran's Auxiliary, Pendleton King Unit 10.

She entered into eternal rest at Brookdale Assisted Living Home, Saturday, April 7, 2012.

She leaves cherishing her everlasting memories: two
