OBITUARY
On Sunday m orning, January 22, 1989, God sm iled and Johnnie Frank W illiam s w ent p e a c e fu lly to his M aker, leaving a shadow o f darkness to encompass his many relatives and friends.
A t a ve ry e a rly age, he becam e a m em ber o f the Beulah B a p tis t C h u rch . He a tte n d e d th e p u b lic schools in lo w e r Richland C ounty.
M r. W illiam s, a son o f M a ry Jackson W illia m s and the la te James W illia m s Sr., was born in C o ngaree, South C arolina, and was a life -lo n g resident o f the com m unity. He re tire d fro m the Engineering D ivision o f South C arolina S tate H o sp ital in C o lu m b ia , South C a ro lin a .
S urvivors are his devoted m o the r, M ary J. W illiam s; fo u r sisters, M ary W. Adam s o f Gadsden, K a tie W. R eid o f Y o rk , South C a ro lin a , Teresa W. Roddey o f Rock H ill, South C a ro lin a , and C a rrie W. C o tto n o f Saginaw, M ichigan; three brothers, C harlie P. W illiam s o f Eastover, R obert C. W illiam s o f Gadsden and Freddie J.
