you along the way." Exodus 23:20
On August 15, 2002 God saw his servant was tired and he whispred "Well done thy good and faithful servant, I will give you peace and rest." He called home to be with him Sarah Lee Townsend Williams at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. She was the eldest daughter of the late Clarence and Emma Townsend, Sr. of Dillon.SC; born on September 9, 1919. She was reared in Dillon, SC and was educated in the public school system there. To this union they were blessed with 3 children: one son Larry Williams ( who also preceded her in death) and two other children. She is also preceded in death by one sister Martha McCall.

After retirement, she moved to Hephizbah, Georgia and joined Windsor Springs Baptist Church. She served faithfully until her health failed her. She liked to plant flowers, to read and to travel. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
