** OBITUARY **
God has once again sent the angel of death to claim that which is his own. Rev. Calhoun Wiley, Sr, departed his life on December 1, 1988 at the University Hospital at 2:30 p.m. He was born March 24,1918 to the late Deacon and Mrs. George W iley, Sr.
At an early age he was converted and baptized at Fielding Spring Baptist Church, Augusta, Georgia.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Miss Louise Williams. This marriage was blessed with ten children; three preceded him in death.
He was called into ministry in 1966. He preached his Trial Sermon at Fielding Spring Baptist Church, Augusta, Georgia.
He leaves to mourn: his devoted wife, Mrs. Louise W iley, Augusta, Ga.; two daughters, Mrs. Carrie E. Proctor of Waynesboro, Ga. and Mrs. Juanita Roane of Fort Benning, Ga.; six sons, Mr. Robert L. 'Jjiley, Mr. Calhoun Wiley, Jr. and Mr. Larry W iley all of Augusta, Ga., Mr. George V/iley of Phoenix, Arizona, Mr. John Edward W iley, Charleston, S.e.. and Mr. Ronnie W iley of Anniston, Ala.; one sister, Mrs. Alberta Lawrence of Hephzibah, Ga.; one brother, Deacon George W iley, Jr. of Augusta, Ga.; four daughters-in-law, Mrs. Edna W iley, Mrs. Gloria W iley and Mrs. Nadine W iley of Augusta, Ga. and Mrs. Brenda W iley of Charleston, S.C.; two sons-in-law, Mr. W illiam Proctor of Waynesboro, Ga. and S.F.C. Gary Roane of Fort Benning, Ga.; twenty-one grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four sistersin-law, two brothers-in-law; three God children, Mrs. Rose Dunns, Mrs. Ladonna Davis ana Miss Jamie "Walker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
