Mr. Benjamin Franklin Wiley, Sr., was bom to Emanuel and Nancy Wiley on August 15, 1892 in Columbia, South Carolina.
At an early age he relocated to Augusta, Georgia and be came a member of Trinity C.M.E. Church. It was there that he served as a faithful Steward for many years.
Mr. Wiley was employed by the Elks Club of Augusta for a number of years. He retired in 1958. f
His declining health condition was the major factor which prevented him from serving as he once did in his church and on his job.
